Thanks for downloading this week’s episode of the Baseball Together Podcast, baseball family! Brig and Brad get things started this week by giving a brief recap of Game 6 of the World Series that included some thoughts on the early hook of Tampa Bay pitcher Blake Snell and the mid-game positive COVID test by LA Dodger third baseman Justin Turner. The guys then get into some free agent talk with players who didn’t get their team option picked up as well as a group of six players who were extended a qualifying offer by their team. They close out the first segment with the news that the New York Mets were FINALLY sold as well as some KBO Playoff talk. (Go NC Dinos!)
Brig and Brad then give their thoughts on the weird season that we all experienced in 2020 with a discussion that includes the 60-game season, COVID outbreaks, and experimental rules.
Note: This episode went long, so be sure to check back for the deleted segment that will drop as a bonus on Friday.
